This months update looks at the things we’ve been doing away from the Centre, around the village, with the help of the Community Payback team and Sapgate Gardens Association.
If you’ve driven down from Kelham on Thornton Road or Hill Top, hopefully you will have noticed we have repainted the Welcome to Thornton signs.
In the village, the area between the houses on Thornton Road and Harmony on Kipping Lane has been cleaned up and weeded.
The team have also tidied the area at the top of Green Lane on Thornton Road. Wild flowers and shrubs will be planted in part of the area soon.
And finally, the teams have installed a new path at the bottom of Green Mount Road.
