This weekend at the Centre

These lots going on at the centre this weekend. Join us on Saturday for our Community Day.

As always on the first Saturday of the month, Sapgate Gardens will be holding their litter pick, and our friends at Thornton Library will be open as usual. Plus there’s Community Plant Swap and the Rock and Rolls Cafe will be open for fantastic food and drinks.

Then on Sunday, join us for our April Sunday Cinema. We are showing She Said. The film stars Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan as Twohey and Kantor, respectively, and follows their New York Times investigation that exposed Harvey Weinstein’s history of abuse and sexual misconduct against women. Patricia Clarkson, Jennifer Ehle, and Samantha Morton all star in the movie

Doors open at 3.30 and the film starts at the earlier time of 3.45. Tickets are available on the door, priced at £4, however if you have a valid library card, bring that with you and your ticket will be £3.
