It’s time for the community to come together again for a weekend of activities at the centre and the surrounding area.
On Saturday, we are giving Market Street a little TLC! Join us for a Community Clean-Up meeting at the Centre at 10am. We’ll sweep, tidy, and freshen up our high street together – and everyone’s welcome to join in, even if it’s just for a little while. Let’s take pride in our village and make a visible difference, together!

Also on Saturday, it’s the usual monthly table top, Affinity Care Community Partnership will be at the centre, as well as Pennine Cycles with the bike café and Sapgate Gardens Association with the litter pick, as well as a Plant and Seed swap The Library is also open as well.

In the evening, there’s a chance to chill with some me time with Sound Bath from 7pm.

And finally on Sunday, in the build up to the VE Day 80 anniversary on Thursday 8th May, we present a special Sunday Cinema, with the award winning Darkest Hour starring Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill. Doors open at 3.30, with the film starring at 3.45. There will be refreshments available before the film.
We hope to see you this weekend.
