Thornton Art Trail – Venue 21: Thornton Community Centre
Thornton Community Centre is proud to be part of the annual Thornton Art Trail as Venue 21, hosting a vibrant programme of local artists and creative stalls throughout the weekend.
Visitors to the Centre can explore a diverse range of artwork from artists in residence, including Paul Thomson, Mussarat Rehman, Steve Spencer, Michele Russell, Sue Sands, Sue Wilde, and Carol Spencer. The artists will be on site during the event, giving visitors the opportunity to view their work, learn more about their process, and engage directly with the creative community.
In addition to the exhibitions, the Main Hall and the rest of the Centre will host a variety of arts and crafts stalls, featuring handmade goods, creative pieces, and unique items from local makers. This creates a lively and welcoming environment where visitors can browse, shop, and enjoy the atmosphere as part of the wider Art Trail experience.
As one of the key venues on the trail, Thornton Community Centre offers an accessible and inclusive space for people to experience art, support local artists, and connect with others.
